Clip a vertical video for Reels or TikTok
Paste a YouTube link, add a video file you have the right to use, then export a 9:16 clip with large centered captions.
Open YouTube Clipper to cut a 9:16 clip with large centered captions. Add a file you have the right to use. A YouTube link is optional for preview and AI.
How it works
YouTube does not let a website download the video file in your browser. Paste the public link so we can show the title and, if you add a Gemini key, so AI can watch that link and suggest clip times and captions.
Add the video file you already have — your own recording or an export you are allowed to use. Pick a start and end, up to 60 seconds. The page crops it to 9:16 and burns large captions in the center while it records the clip in this tab.
Export plays the range in real time and saves a WebM or MP4, depending on the browser. Keep this tab open until it finishes.
When this helps
Useful when you already have the file and want a phone-shaped clip with punchy centered text, without opening a desktop editor.
It is not a YouTube downloader and it is not a license to reuse other people's videos. Only clip content you own or have permission to post.
What stays on your device
The video file is processed in this tab and is not stored by AyukTools. Looking up a YouTube link asks YouTube for the public title and thumbnail. If you use AI, your Gemini key and the YouTube URL are sent to Google through this site once per analysis. The key is kept in this browser until you remove it. AyukTools does not keep a copy.
Questions about this tool
- Why do I still need to add a video file?
- Browsers are not allowed to pull the YouTube file itself. The link is for preview and optional AI. The file you add is what gets cropped and exported.
- Where do the big captions come from?
- Type a script and turn it into timed lines, or let Gemini suggest captions from a public YouTube URL when you paste your own API key.
- Is the Gemini key uploaded to AyukTools?
- It is stored only in this browser. During Analyze it is forwarded to Google so the model can run, then discarded on our side. Remove it when you are done.
