Clip your own video to 9:16 in the browser

The vertical clipper is for footage you recorded, exported from your own camera or editor, or otherwise have the right to reuse. You pick a start and end, up to sixty seconds, crop to a tall frame, and burn large captions in the center while the tab records the result.

That is a different job from pulling someone else’s stream off YouTube. YouTube does not allow a website to download the file in a browser, and AyukTools does not try. If you do not have the file, this tool cannot invent it.

A public YouTube URL can show the title and thumbnail, and it can be sent to Gemini if you paste your own API key, so the model can suggest clip times and captions. Use that only for a video you published or are clearly allowed to recut.

Looking up a title is not a license. Do not take someone else’s video, crop it, and post it as yours. The terms on this site say the same thing. If you need a clip from a platform you do not own, use that platform’s own tools or get permission.

The page plays the range you chose and records the 9:16 canvas in real time. Captions sit in the middle so they stay readable on a phone. The download is a WebM or MP4, depending on the browser. Keep the tab open until the progress finishes.

Because recording is live, a sixty-second clip takes about sixty seconds. That is a browser limit, not a hidden upload. The source file is not stored by AyukTools after you close the page.

Longer cuts, color work, multi-track audio, and batch exports belong in an editor. This page is for one short vertical clip with punchy text, without installing software.

If the source is already 9:16, you may only need a trim and captions. If it is a wide recording, pick top, center, or bottom crop so faces stay in frame. Either way, the right to use the pictures has to exist before you press export.
